IAO Eastern Regional Day at Our Lady and English Martyrs, and other venues in central Cambridge

Following on from the French Baroque based event in 2023 at Chelmsford Cathedral, this is another chance for all the Associations in our IAO region to meet up for a day together. We will be based primarily in the large and beautiful Roman Catholic church of Our Lady & English Martyrs (built by Dunn & Hansom of Newcastle in 1880, just like Downside Abbey’s East End – see Bath report above!). There will be a recital by officers from all the Associations, a talk by Alex Berry (Director of Music, Great St Mary’s in Cambridge) on choir recruitment, and also some open console time in nearby churches for those who wish to play.
