It is with sadness that we report the death of former EOA member Robert Little, who passed away on 10th July after a long battle with his health. Robert was, for a time, Secretary of the EOA’s predecessor, the Chelmsford & District Organists’ Association. It was just a few months ago that we reported the death of Robert’s brother Michael. Robert’s nephew, Stuart, has asked us to make EOA members aware of the funeral arrangements: Thursday 20th August, at 2.30pm, at All Saints Church, Writtle, Chelmsford CM1 3EN.
Stuart also writes to say that it is believed that Robert Little may have written several pieces of published music for the organ. Does anyone know of any of Robert’s organ music, as the family would like to use it in the service.
